Special issue: Entrepreneurship in emerging markets
The ISM Journal of International Business is the key vehicle of intellectual exchange among the ISM academic community and beyond. The Journal comes out annually and papers are assessed through a double-blind review process.
Although all topics related to international business and management are considered, for the 2020 issue we aim for submissions in the area of entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
There are many challenges in the process of launching a start-up, attracting funds, and making the venture grow. In emerging markets, these challenges are more acute; governments struggle to develop a favorable entrepreneurial ecosystem, local funds are scarce, and the regulatory framework is in need of deep reform.
This issue of The ISM Journal of International Business highlights the initiatives undertaken by entrepreneurs in emerging markets and the challenges they face in growing their businesses. We welcome research papers and relevant case studies that highlight innovative business models hailing from emerging markets.
Submissions should be sent to César Baena, editor-in-chief and ISM Dean, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by May 29, 2020
