ISM Professor Christophe Schinckus has co-authored a paper published in the Q2-ranked International Social Science Journal. The study, titled "Information Technology and Outbound Tourism: A Cross-Country Analysis," investigates the impact of internet and mobile usage on outbound tourism across 126 economies from 2000 to 2017. The findings highlight the significant positive influence of internet usage on tourism expenditures and departures, with stronger effects observed in higher-income economies.
